Recently, there have been cases that e-mails posing as the Hitachi Construction Machinery Group employees have been sent with invoices asking for payment into specified bank accounts.

Please confirm the following information below if you receive or send e-mails from/to employees of the Hitachi Construction Machinery Group.

• Are the e-mail addresses of the sender and recipient authentic?
• Is the bank account on the invoice a regularly used one?
• Is the signature on the invoice authentic?
