For nearly three decades Auf Wiedersehen Pet entertained households across the country, and now with the support of HM Plant, they’re coming back to the North East. The british comedy drama about seven British migrant construction workers, launched the acting careers of some of the region’s biggest exports including; Tim Healy, Jimmy Nail and Kevin Whately.
Now, thanks to HM Plant, “The Brickies Banquet” will take place at The Hilton, Gateshead on 21st September to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the hit show. HM Plant Chairman, John Jones, said; Like HM Plant, Auf Wiedersehen Pet has been established for
more than 30 years and the subject of the show, building and construction, is very close to our heart. It’s great to be associated
with such an iconic TV show and we’re all looking forward to the convention.”
