HCMUK SUPPORTS CAREYS CHARITY PARTNER BREAST CANCER NOW

Recently, Hitachi Construction Machinery UK were approached by a loyal and longstanding customer Carey Group Plc to help them raise funds and awareness for their chosen charity partner Breast Cancer Now.  In support of the campaign, HCMUK agreed to repaint Carey’s ZX225US excavator in the charity colours.

Breast Cancer Now is the UK’s largest breast cancer charity dedicated to funding research to discover a breakthrough of prevention, early detection and cure.  Their overarching aim is to identity a cure to breast cancer by 2050.

Careys Foundation, a registered charity setup by Carey Group Plc have named their pink Hitachi excavator ‘Hope’.  Hope will visit various project sites across the UK, with all hire fees donated directly to the charity.

Martin O’Hare of HCMUK said, “Careys have been a loyal customer of ours for many years now and when we were approached to get involved with the charity we were more than happy to help. Many people are affected by cancer in one way or another and to help raise awareness through painting one of Careys excavators in the colour of Breast Cancer Now has been an absolute pleasure”.
