Ardent Hire takes delivery of the biggest Hitachi order to date

Hitachi Construction Machinery UK has secured its largest order to date with over 300 excavators to be delivered to Ardent Hire Solutions this year. The investment will increase Ardent’s existing Hitachi fleet with the addition of 1.5 tonne mini excavators to 25 tonne zero tail swing tracked excavators.

Ardent Hire Solutions offer over 7,000 assets across 14 depots nationwide, making them one of the largest in the plant hire market.

Anuj Patel, Head of Marketing at Ardent, tells us: “The recent order comes at an exciting time for Ardent Hire, with plans to invest over £100 million on new machines to meet demand and disposal needs.”

He continues: “We’ve made recent investments in Scotland, Newcastle and Leeds, and plan to open another depot in the next quarter.”
