AdBlue® is used to reduce harmful NOx emissions; however, it is important to follow the correct storage, handling and disposal advice in order to maximise performance and ensure a safe operation.
Zaxis-6 excavators and ZW-6 wheel loaders feature several useful engine indicators including a high exhaust temperature alert, SCR regeneration request and AdBlue® level indication. These can help to maximise the performance of your fleet and minimise downtime, through a better awareness of engine conditions.
AdBlue® has the potential to corrode iron, copper, brass, aluminium and PET plastic products. Only use dedicated polyethylene or stainless steel storage containers. Do not allow contact with your skin, mouth or eyes, and ensure it is stored correctly at all times. It is important to avoid contamination of AdBlue® with diesel fuel. It is recommended that you use the integrated AdBlue® filler tube to avoid overflow during filling. AdBlue® should not be diluted with water, which will be detected by a quality sensor in the tank. Also, avoid dust and other contaminates from entering the AdBlue® tank when filling.
