Since 1972, we have employed many valuable, successful, and forward-thinking members of staff who have constantly adapted to an ever-changing marketplace, providing solutions for our customers through the latest technologies and construction methods.

As we reflect over 50 years of forging successful teams and partnerships, we want to remember the people that have made the Hitachi family what it is today. You can find out about their special memories and success stories over the coming months.

Hitachi Vintage Machine

As well as celebrating our staff, we like to praise the ingenuity of Hitachi construction machinery, such as the 1985 UH063 we’ve had at our head office in Hebburn for some time. We are delighted to be holding a sealed bid for this machine with all proceeds going to The Lighthouse Club, a charity providing financial and emotional support for the construction community and their families.

Bids are to be made by emailing charityauction@hitachicm.co.uk The bidding closes on Monday 13th June with the winner of the auction being announced in Hillhead 2022.
