To support the continued growth of Hitachi Construction Machinery UK Ltd (HCMUK), we are looking for an experienced Sales Executive to work join our Sales Team covering South Midlands, including post codes: MK, LU, OX, GL, SN, BS & BA. The role is field based and will require travel to all of these areas. The basic hours are 40 per week, although some additional hours can be expected. Your duties will include:
Promoting and selling the full Hitachi range of Construction Equipment.
Create solutions and ensure a smooth sales process.
Raise customer orders.
Generate new sales leads through business directories, client referrals etc.
Monitor competitive activity.
Report Sales Trends.
Meet Sales targets.
Represent Company at exhibitions and events.
Liaise with the Production Department and Sales Administration Department
We’re looking for someone with a proven track record of building and developing a sales portfolio in an emerging territory. We need someone with excellent communication skills who can quickly build rapport with customers and drive sales. You’ll have no problems working under pressure with challenging targets and you’ll be well organised with the ability to think on your feet and efficiently plan your workload. Coupled with this you’ll need to have great attention to detail and be able to adapt quickly in an ever changing work environment. Underpinning the above will be your professional attitude, great time management and your ability to turn leads to sales. Ideally you will also have some past experience of selling plant or construction machinery.
