Hitachi Construction Machinery UK Ltd (HCMUK) are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure and Support Specialist to join the IT team. The basic hours are 40 hours per week, although some additional hours can be expected. All applicants must have experience and/or knowledge to be able to complete the following duties:
Support corporate IT equipment, infrastructure, systems and staff across 11 UK sites as well as mobile and home workers..
Provide support both in person and remotely using remote support tools and telephone support as necessary.
Diagnosis and fixing of IT and business system errors, escalating to 3rd parties and management where appropriate.
Analyse common issues and be proactive in finding long term solutions, making recommendations on changes and/or improvements where appropriate.
Maintain, administer and improve on the corporate Office 365 and Windows 10 environment.
To undertake project work as and when required.
Attend regular training courses as and when required and be proactive about self and systems development.
Create and maintain IT systems and support documentation.
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
Computer related Degree/Diploma/Microsoft Certification or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 3 years of infrastructure/server/desktop support experience.
Windows Server 2012, including DNS, DHCP & WINS.
Microsoft Active Directory.
Microsoft Windows 10, iOS and Android (Samsung)
Microsoft Office 365 (Teams, OneDrive etc) and Azure Administration.
Microsoft Productivity Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Good customer service skills and ability to work on own initiative.
Understands the importance of documentation.
Knowledge of backup (Veeam) and system security practises.
Endpoint security and MDM (Including Apple business manager)
Experience of supporting Hosted Telephony Platforms (MITEL).
Experience of supporting Managed print solution (Ricoh).
Experience of Sophos Endpoint and MDM
