***A message from HCM UK on COVID-19***

Like many of you, we at Hitachi Construction Machinery UK have been closely monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak within the UK and across the world. At these times of uncertainty, we feel it is prudent to address this to our valued customers, suppliers, staff and local communities.

It has become clear that the outbreak of the virus will likely have serious consequences on the daily lives of our staff, suppliers, communities we live in and our families and loved ones.

Under these circumstances, we expect that HCM UK’s current and future operations will also be affected at some point, however we are committed to providing you with the usual high level of service and quality we pride ourselves on and we urge you to patient, flexible and kind in these times of uncertainty.

Safeguarding the health and wellbeing of our people is our top priority, and we are taking the necessary precautions to combat the spread of the virus; we will continue to pay close attention to Hitachi group guidelines, and the UK Government recommendations, and take appropriate actions based on them.
