Hitachi Construction Machinery UK are delighted to announce that we will be exhibiting at Floodex on 18th and 19th May 2016.

Taking place at Peterborough Arena, the trade event for flood defence and the water level management (WLM) sector will bring together leaders in the Local Authority, Internal Drainage Board (IDB), designers, consultants, contractors and planners with the supply chain and service providers.

The event will also include free CPD accredited seminars from key figures such as; Alison Baptiste, Head of Flood & Coastal Risk Management for the Environment Agency, Peter Simpson, CEO Anglian Water, Richard Wills, Executive Director, Lincolnshire County Council, Andrew McGill, CEO, Water Management Consortium and Innes Thomson, chief executive of the ADA; there will also be a guest presenter from Defra.

We will be showcasing two of our long reach excavators; the ZX85US-5 SLF and ZX130LCN-5 SLF. The excavators are ideal for flood defence work, among other applications, responding with speed and precision in even the most challenging conditions.
